Validate and Update Your 16-Digit NPWP

With the latest Tax Regulation regarding 16-digit Tax Identification Numbers (NPWP), herewith the announcement for both individual and corporate customers.

Individual Customers

Dear Customers,

Thank you for your trust in using the banking services of PT Bank Permata Tbk., licensed and supervised by Financial Services Authority (hereinafter referred as "PermataBank").

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 112/PMK.03/2022 regarding Taxpayer Identification Numbers for Individual Taxpayers, Corporate Taxpayers and Government Agency Taxpayers, that stipulates:

  • Individual taxpayers who are residents (in this case, Indonesian citizens and foreign citizens holding KTP Identity Card) are required to use their Population Identification Number (NIK) as their Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP).

PermataBank therefore urges all Customers to:

  • Promptly validate their NPWP independently (via the djponline.pajak.go.id, via the Directorate General of Taxes’s contact center, or through registered Tax Service Office/KPP) no longer than 31 December 2023.
  • After successfully validated, Customers must update their NPWP recorded in PermataBank through the nearest branch office or PermataTel Contact Center (1500-111, 021-29850611). All NPWP data update requirements at PermataBank are subject to PermataBank's prevailing policies.
  • The NPWP update is also mandatory for the Guarantor’s NPWP (if any).

All risks arise from the NPWP that are not validated and updated by Customers as mentioned above are solely become Customers’ responsibility (including all transactions conducted).

Corporate Clients

Dear Clients,

Thank you for your trust in using the banking services of PT Bank Permata Tbk., licensed and supervised by Financial Services Authority (hereinafter referred as "PermataBank").

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 112/PMK.03/2022 regarding Taxpayer Identification Numbers for Individual Taxpayers, Corporate Taxpayers and Government Agency Taxpayers, that stipulates:

  • Individual taxpayers (both residents and non-residents), corporate taxpayers and Government Institutions taxpayers are required to use NPWP with a 16 (sixteen)-digit format which needs to be validated/clarified through Directorate General of Taxes’s.
  • Branch taxpayers are required to use the Place of Business Identity Number.

PermataBank therefore urges all Clients to:

  • Clarify their NPWP and/or Place of Business Identity Number (via the djponline.pajak.go.id website, the Directorate General of Taxes’s contact center, or registered Tax Service Office/KPP) no longer than 31 December 2023.
  • After successfully validated, Clients must update their NPWP recorded in PermataBank through the nearest branch office or Relationship Manager. All NPWP data update requirements at PermataBank are subject to PermataBank's prevailing policies.
  • NPWP update is also mandatory for the NPWP of the Director, Shareholders, and Guarantors (if any).

All risks arise from the NPWP that are not validated/clarified and updated by Clients as mentioned above are solely become Clients’ responsibility (including all transactions conducted).
