For all business sectors, including banking sectors, 2020 until 2021 becomes the challenging period. The limitation of community activities due to the pandemic, requires companies to adapt to follow changes, and so does PermataBank. The acceleration of digital transformation implemented by PermataBank provides a seamless banking service solution with innovation through the integration of each service in one application that is PermataMobile X.
Besides the all-in-one service through PermataMobile X, PermataBank also makes some updates on PermataNet, brings innovations namely PermataQR, and presents the Branch Model, which is a branch office that implements contactless and paperless banking transactions. The various digitization efforts made by PermataBank were considered very positive by the judges who awarded the Top Digital Company Award 2021.
Glenn Ranti, as PermataBank's Division Head of Marketing & Brand Awareness, stated that "The 2021 Top Digital Company Award is a form of our commitment to digitizing every banking service that we have. Thank you especially to PermataBank customers who faithfully use the digital services from PermataBank so that we can continue to make endless innovations to create a banking ecosystem that provides digitized holistic financial solutions. "
"This award will also be a benchmark for our performance both internally and externally. Hence, TDCA 2021 will not only be an achievement for us as a company but it will also be a motivation for us to continue to give the best and seamless banking services for our customers in Indonesia," added Glenn.
The Top Digital Company Award 2021 is given to future leader companies that are considered ready to face the digital era and their contribution to fulfill the future consumer needs through an assessment parameter called the Digital Corporate Index (DCI) developed by Survey One.
The assessment parameters were carried out through two stages of assessment. On the first stage, Survey One and Digital Frontier conducted an external audit involving 500 Public Panels, 300 Panel Investors, 30 Top Panel Digital Experts, and 20 Senior Journalists in evaluating companies that are eligible to be nominated in the 49 industries category in Indonesia. Then in the second stage, which is an internal audit, a presentation was performed by the nominated company conducted in front of 5 Judges of Digital Experts.
The success parameters in carrying out digital transformation were also evaluated from 5 main dimensions, namely, product awareness, customer touch points, organizational initiatives, strategic initiatives, and process quality.
