David Martin Fletcher

David Martin Fletcher, President Director

British citizen. Appointed as President Director of PermataBank pursuant to the resolutions of PermataBank’s EGMS on 12 August 2009, with approval from Bank Indonesia obtained on 20 October 2009. Previously David Fletcher served as head of Group Internal Audit responsible for independent internal audit across the Standard Chartered Group. He has extensive international work experience in banking, starting with various posts with Citibank N.A. from 1985 to 1994. In 1995, he joined Standard Chartered Bank, London, and has since accumulated further international exposure through varous postings at Standard Chartered Bank in China (Shanghai), Hong Kong, Singapore and as the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh fro 2002 to 2004. David Fletcher holds an Honours Degree in Modern History from Durham University, Durham, England.
