Lukita D. Tuwo, Independent Commissioner 

Indonesian citizen. Appointed as Commissioner of PermataBank pursuant to the resolutions of PermataBank’s EGMS on 31 October 2002 and obtained approval from Bank Indonesia on 10 February 2003. Lukita D. Tuwo began his professional career in 1986 at PT Unilever Indonesia as a Management Trainee, Production Planner, within the Elida Gibbs Division. He then joined the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) in 1987 and was subsequently appointed as the Director for Balance of Payments and International Economic Cooperation Bappenas (1998–2005) and served as Deputy Minister of National Development Planning for Development Funding Affairs (2005-2010). In early 2010, Lukita D. Tuwo was appointed as Vice Minister of National Development Planning RI. He had experience as Chairman and Member of the Indonesian delegation to a number of international (multilateral and bilateral) forums. Since 2008, he has held the position as Chairman of Aid for Development Effectiveness Committee. From 2002 to 2006 he served as Secretary to the Financial Sector Policy Committee (FSPC), and from 2005 to present he is also Vice President Commissioner of PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI). Lukita D. Tuwo earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, an MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and PhD degree in Economics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA.
