Raymond J. Ferguson, President Commisioner, Age 46

British citizen. Appointed as President Commissioner of PermataBank pursuant to the resolutions of PermataBank’s EGMS on 29 August 2008 and obtained approval from Bank Indonesia on 9 December 2008. Raymond J. Ferguson is the Regional Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank for South East Asia. Headquartered in London, Standard Chartered PLC is listed on both the London Stock Exchange and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and is ranked in the top 25 among FTSE-100 companies, by market capitalization. It has a history of over 150 years in banking and has an extensive global network of over 1,600 branches located in over 70 countries. Ray is responsible for all of SCB businesses in Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He also holds the following appointments:

Ray is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland and a full member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He holds an MBA from Henley Management College and Brunel University, UK.
