A. Tony Prasetiantono, Independent Commissioner

Indonesian citizen. Age 48. Appointed as Independent Commissioner of PermataBank pursuant to resolutions of PermataBank's AGMS on 27 April, 2010, and obtained approval from Bank Indonesia on December 17, 2010, effective on March 21, 2011. He is currently senior lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University, and Director of the Research Center for Economics and Public Policy at Gadjah Mada University. Previously, he was an Independent Commissioner at Bank Mandiri (2003-2005) and Chief Economist at Bank Negara Indonesia (2006-2010). He finished his undergraduate from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta (1986), Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (1991), and Ph.D from the Australian National University, Canberra (2005). He is currently also a member of Information Committee at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (Lembaga Penjaminan Simpanan, LPS).
