A. Tony Prasetiantono, Independent Commissioner, Age 47

Mr. Tony Prasetiantono was an Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk since 2003 until 2005. Since 1986 up to present besides as Lecturer in Faculty of Economics and Business in Gadjah Mada University, he also holds position as Chief Economist of Bank Negara Indonesia (since 2006 until now) and as Director of Center for Econonomic and Public Policy Studies in Gadjah Mada University (since 2009 up to present).
He earned an Economy Degree from Gadjah Mada University in 1986, a Master of Science from  University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA in 1991 and a Ph.D Degree from Australian National University, Canberra in 2005.
